My whole neighborhood was watching the series. We talked about it in school, after school and came home ready to see the Bad Boys bring home the glory. Nothing can compare to the sound of neighborhoods running out of the house cheering when they won the finals. Detroit Basketball is just built different.

Some of the Best memories of my childhood was cruising around Detroit after the Pistons won in 04! We shut down Belle Isle, Chandler Park, Woodward Ave. etc. Dudes who would normally mean-mug you when passing by was 🤜🏾🤛🏾dapping you up and smiling 😂😂 That lasted about a week, Good Times!
honestly i was in highschool when this Pistons team played together & i knew they would win the title. ive never seen a team that solid defensively ever and i dont think we ever will again. to hold any team below 70pts in a game nowadays is close to impossible. this team did it more than a dozen times
All 5 of their Starters were All-stars. Prince was robbed to not play favorites.. yet he was the glue who guards Kobe. Melo didn't play D so know we wouldn't have won more with him much less one at all
Detroit was in the building hard and will be always.. I can't really say the feeling, but we knew we was gone win.. the grit, n grind is real here💯💪🏾❤️

Im from Grand Rapids, MICHIGAN I couldn't believe it, but I got so much shiit growing up being a Pistons Fan even in MICHIGAN!!! When the Pistons weren't the best yet, and I'd wear my jersey to school I'd get so many people telling me to take that jersey off. I remember wearing my Beat LA shirt the last day of school my freshman year, and EVERYONE was giving me crap saying we had no chance to win. We went in, and won game 1, and the rest was history. It made it so much sweeter when we did our 5 game sweep, but I never got to see those jerks eats their word's. Still an AWESOME memory in my life.
#FACTS. A LOT of the credit for the Pistons feeling of invincibility has to go to Coach Larry Brown. He was the right Man for that team at the right time. Also Joe D as GM…they had a LOT to do with making that TEAM what they were.
Two of the greatest moments in that whole playoff series was us beating the Lakers 4-1 and Tayshaun Prince with that chase down block on Reggie Miller in the ECF!
Doesnt happen anymore pistons fans gotta be one of the most cancer fan bases in sports guy can have a 30,20,10 game fans will be like mvp were good again omg then same guy will score 12 points next game and same people will say oh were trash trade everyone etc its so cring to see idc tho 0-82 or 82-0 i love my team 💯
