He is a game changer on defense the moment he steps on the NBA hardwood, which is crazy to think about for a rookie. Scottie was an impact player as a rookie and won ROTY, he was not a game changer. How much play time he gets depends on the rest of the teams roster and his shooting. If he develops a shot he . Long term who knows if someone like Bilal or the Thompson twins surpass him but for the length of the rookie contract he has a strong chance of being one of the best value players. Really hope he is available at #13 so the Raps get the option to take him.

Cason would be a great fit for us. Great defender, good playmaker and a decent shooter.
I don’t think he’ll be available at 13 but if we can swing some trades for more picks I would consider taking him as high as 8th.
