This is a a great hire. Monty is a great developmental coach. This team has a great young core they just to develop under a winning basketball system. I think soon people will realize how good James Wisemen actually is and potentially could be.
Imagine if this could be a tampering scheme for the Pistons to go after hometown guy Devin Booker in a few years

I am very very excited about this move. Being a Kyrie fan is exhausting and often confusing. Iām ready for MY TEAM to be good again so I donāt have to rely on these flaky superstars. And no, I donāt care. Iāve always had a favorite player to fall back on when the Pistons get eliminated from the playoffs. That donāt make me a āfake fanā fk yāall
Detroit had such a great team in 2003 , 2004. Hopefully they can make a great cohesive team and defensive powerhouse like the one that took down the All Star Lakers.
Hi big fan of GA since 2013….I like Monty….2RAW…Bucks GM like M.Jackson as a New Coach of Milwaukee….but Family of Giannis doesnt like the Interview of this Coach after 7 game last year against Boston…about Giannis and the Bucks…this man close the door
I'm really excited about the Pistons hiring Monty Williams. The team has a nice young core, so hopefully Monty can help the team get better. The Pistons haven't been great since 2008 when they went to the ECF. They made the playoffs in 2009 with Iverson, but were swept by the Cavaliers in the first round.

Monty has his work cut out for him. Detroit has some good young talent, but they also are undisciplined. He will bring them structure. Plus, they've given him a bag, so that should illustrate that they're going to give him time to get it right. We'll see.
