The nets supposedly have interest in Ant, and if they are the most firm about not giving up Mikal, Claxton is a close second in terms of desirability especially with his contract. They would get Poetl to step in and replace Claxton and get a promising young guard on a good contract.
The raptors get #3 which they supposedly covet, without giving up Siakam, who they can flip for additional assets. The question is whether they think 3 is valuable enough to give up both OG and Poetl as well as their own lottery pick.
I gave us #13 as well because I felt like if we aren’t getting a star, getting some draft compensation back in return gives us some more flexibility to acquire some more veteran help or even to just take a swing at 13 and hopefully get someone we can look to develop slowly.
At first glance Claxton would make Nurkic who would now be by far the highest paid center in the league redundant but as we all know Nurk is good for missing 20-30 games so the depth is actually great.
We use #23 to get a win-now player a La Kris Murray and flip a couple seconds to Chicago to free up our future picks and we are in business.
Starting V:
PG: Dame
SG: Ant
SF: OG
PF: Grant
C: Claxton
6. Nurk
7. Thybulle
8. Reddish
9. Watford
10. Nassir
11. Winslow
13. Keon
Ideally we would pick up a veteran PG on the minimum.

SG: obviously should be Sharpe
The Nets world love this deal, they get out from Ben Simmons AND get two great players as well. Ridiculously good for them. The Raptors probably do this though their fans will want Dame and Sharpe as well.
For us it sucks, the #3 is not worth trading for that crap return, if OG was worth this, they wouldn’t be trading him.
We will have given up our two main assets for two role players.
