  1. The Lakers may let go off Mo Bamba. Warriors could work something out. Poole trade with the Nets is very plausible and needed.

  2. Trade Poole and Kuminga for one big veteran to increase the chance for a championship. What happens if the Warriors don’t win a championship in the next three years. Who will the Warriors play to be competitive with no talent left after the three core veterans retire?

  3. Yep, I've thought about this long and hard and definitely see Poole & Kuminga being traded. However, I also believe that both [want] to leave the Warriors as well. Poole all but threw several regular season games and completely gave in during the post-season, so that shows he is not Warriors material at all. When you play selfishly, you lose constantly.

Warriors also need at least one big, and unfortunately, the Wiseman investment was a complete wash. I'm still sad and extremely bothered by that, but what has to be will be. It's business, and billions of dollars stand to be lost by the Warriors if they do not trim away guys who have demonstrated that they don't want to play, or are too slow in developing.

Another problem was, in my opinion, the large contract Poole was dealt. I would have given him a minimum of one more year to further prove his commitment, and thought that he still played far too erratically. He played inconsistently, and oftentimes made ridiculous decisions, and tried to be too unnecessarily flashy. This all showed me that the Warriors screwed up in giving him that large of an increase. Especially for a player who'd rather tank as well as not play defense. This goes way deeper and beyond Poole getting punched. I honestly believe that if Draymond didn't do it, [someone] else would have. Draymond is, to me, is a team barometer. One that I can always rely on to determine the team's cohesiveness, or the politics going on under that surface.

All that said, I do like some of the bigs considered in this segment. However, I would like to retain Patrick Baldwin Jr. if at all possible. He has the length, poise, steadiness, and maturity I like in a player. I think he could do some damage as a perimeter shooter … a solid and 3 and D player. Also his current contract fits well with the cap and lux taxes being what they are, and the constraints of NBA's new collective bargaining agreement. Whatever happens, I'm preparing myself to not be shocked by Joe Lacob's next big move.

  4. If this happens, whatever trade they decide to do. I’d take any of those options but i personally like Lauri and the jazz package the best.

  5. Bob Myers is not responsible for drafting Poole, it was Dunleavy who saw him first and Bob didn’t trust Poole untill proven wrong, he said it himself. He’s not responsible for getting KD, it was Steph and Draymond. He wanted to trade Klay for Kevin Love and was stopped by Jerry West. Plus, sign and trade with the Nets was only KD-s good will to help us, Myers didn’t have any control over it since KD was unrestricted free agent that time.

  6. I don't understand the bit about KAT… if he's injury prone and the Warriors need to stay healthy for the next two or three years, why do we want him? Seems like high risk/ low likelihood of reward acquisition.

  7. The team needs to get bigger, younger and more athletic, even though he is probably a more enticing trade piece than Poole shopping Kuminga away for anyone but a bonafide star that puts you right back into contender status seems foolish.

Objectively speaking it's time for Klay and Dray to go but no one in that building is thinking straight enough to make that call. So let's live with them for next season at least then. In that case Dray needs to take a pay cut and one or both have to go to the bench. Neither of them is the player they used to be and their unwillingness to adapt or change is hurting the teams chances to win.

Klay has really been a selfish prick since he came back and his talk of being an All star again tells you everything you need to know. He's thinking about himself and not the team.

Kerr can say what he likes and people might read too much into it, he deliberately didn't mention any names no single anyone out. While he's not wrong. Championship teams do have everyone buying into their roles and putting their ego's aside I think he's forgetting that needs to apply to the Vets on the team too.
When different players are held to clearly different standards be it when they sucker punch a team mate in practice and suffer no consequences, or they shoot the teams out of games and pout on defense it sets a real bad tone. I would have well and truly demanded a trade if I were Poole by now. Of course Poole played like shit for most of the season and into the playoffs but he's young and still has time to learn and grow. What excuse does Klay have? or Draymond when he fails to guard on perimeter or is late communicating or closing out and goes multiple games without even once looking at the basket forcing the team to play 4 on 5 offense.

This team needs so much more to change than some idiot on youtube saying "Sheeeesh" to make them a serious threat.

  8. Actually, Bob didn't get yelled at by Lacob. He got yelled at by Warriors fans. That clip was edited.

  9. Trade Draymond and Poole a premier big men. For inside treat, someone shoot two's and a great finisher, Jimmy Butler or DeMar DeRozan.

  10. Like the dfs yuta trade but KAT and lauri aint it. Also, "no punching" in the entrance is crazyy. Draymond be feeling attacked each time he go in and practice 😂

  11. Jordan Poole contract puts golden state in a bind… They got one choice to make and that's trading him, Warriors coulda sign any center for the production of Zaza, any center can play his defense. Draymond punch was the thing that happened last year… A bust in James Wiseman, well you needed a center and you got rid of him, best thing to do was to keep Wiseman, but they didn't.

  12. Honestly i have hope just because there are so mant big man ok the market all we need is a big man for curry to dish it to and that'll be huge
