  1. Defense wins championships but you bet against Miami!!!!

  2. Jason. I am a middle school basketball coach and your post game analysis is the only analysis I watch. Thankful for your in-depth work

  3. So we suppose to act like Miami ain't the best 3 point shooting team in the playoffs?

  4. Spolstra is a filipino wizard

Spo figured out how to defeat the Nuggets

Yiu cant shut Jokic down but you can sliw down Murray Porter Jr Gordon Brown and KCP

Spo is so underrated and orverlooked

But Spo is a filipino wizard

He knew they cant shutdown Jokic but they can sliw down the rest of the Nuggets players

Kevin Love was key, he clogged rhe lane

    Thats another Spolstra masterclass

Now, does everyone believe now that Spo is a Filipino Wizard ❤❤❤

    Mabuhay

Spo is a national treasure in the Philippines equivalent to the great Manny Pacman Pacquiao ❤❤❤

  5. Thanks for spending time to break down everything everywhere with excruciating detail. This show made me watch basketball again

  6. Spo figured out Giannis and Tatum …

He will figure out Murray, maybe not Jokic , but that will be enough for the Heat to win the title

    Spo is a Filipino Wizard

  7. Analysis and insight from you and Tim Legler is very much appreciated; keep up the great work!

  8. Thank you for the rant at the end. This is red pilled basketball content. The corporate sports press says these stupid things all the time and people regurgitate them thinking it sounds smart.

  9. You should do some stuff with j.j. Redick podcast you guys would be fun to listen to together

  10. basic basketball, move jokic down low and post up, if they front or double him, that gotta be an open shot up top or someone opens on the weak side

  11. I thought they abused jokic on defense on high pick and roll this game, the nugs should have enough offense to make up for it with what jokic provides there tho

  12. Disagree on the game one shot analysis. Miami just missed a bunch of wide open shots. The looks were the same, the efficiency was just lower.

  13. Insightful description on the "Make Joker Score" blueprint in what is actually happening. Spoelstra is one of the best, if not the best, at deflecting the narrative of what coaches do or don't do. He is a Masterful Coach behind and in front of the camera and has been trained by Riles, the Godfather, in shaping a series narrative.

  14. It actually looked like they were running a 3-2 . 3 up top and 2 down it’s is more effective against 3pt shooting.

  15. muscle memory, pace, open shots, confidence, comfortable, all nice words, but shooting almost 50% from 3 its not normal, not even the elite snipers this game have seen, are shooting this %….its ridiculous! And I'm not saying they not capable of hitting shots, because they clearly are, but those %? Cmon!…Oh and and i'm not even mentioning the amount of timely shots they making!

  16. Jason you changing the narrative. Max strus had open uncontested 3's in game one…he missed. Game 2 he had the exact same shots.. he made 4.. Denver's defense really wasn't that significant in game 1 or 2.. Miami just missed some shots. The difference in game 2 really came down to Kevin Love getting some minutes to neutralize Aaron Gordon and Jimmy guarding Jamal Murray. Spo understands its more important to stop Murray than to stop Jokic.

  17. Spoelstra was super cranky and his response was disrespectful. Listen to Kerr on the Draymond show, he says the same thing, almost verbatim. Maybe his eyes are untrained too.

Spoelstra is awesome. I respect and admire him. I don't worship him.

  18. This level of coaching also might help explain why Miami doesn't perform as strong during the regular season. That time is to learn and plan. Why play your cards for 1/82 win when you can save them for the playoffs and they have much less time to adjust.

  19. Denver wins smiling thumbnail in golden aura. Miami wins downward expression thumbnail. Miami fans are used to this by « unbiased » media. Mental

  20. Bucks, knicks, & celtics did not figure out Spo's hybrid zone.. If denver ffails to figurr it out too, series will be over.. Look back all the heat games.. Whenever they are in the zone they make great runs.. Then when the other coach takes a time out and counter or, when another game comes, Spo stops using the zone or comes up with another form type of zone defense..

  21. Nice analysis, as always, however I think Denver not necessarily need to be reactive to what Miami do, they can also turn their defense to try to disrupt Heat. OK, they will not start to play zone suddenly, but why not cover Jimmy and Bam strictly with single coverage even if there is a favorable matchup switch for them and they score 2pts here and there, but cover 3pt shooters to prevent outbound pass.

  22. Thanks! for taking the time to kill ANAL ytics when its there. Too many NERDS and clowns that dont know sports and r DFS driven(I love DFS) and dont understand sports, feel of game, history, and human element alomg w skill along w other factors. It almost killed MLB and they will do it to NBA too if we dont stop it. MLB changed rules and I think the 3 in NBA ruined game and needs rule changes overall.

  23. Defense is like 98% EFFORT so I agree Denvers D was bad but it was mostly EFFORT which is ridiculous and bad look for team but easily correctable. However I do think MIAMI has done this crazy shooting to every team when they sucked during year so its just one of those runs and analytics is a joke cuz u cant forsee this stuff. If u shooy 50% from 3 and 90% from line w enough attempts u will NEVER LOSE so if MIA thinks they can do that 2 more times then they win I SAY NO WAY. Only reason it happened this time was effort and I dont think we c that again w bad effort unless they wanna b bums in history. Both game werent great w effort in 4th qtr.

  24. So let me get this straight when Spoelstra wins he the greatest coach but when he loses no one says nothing? U know I went through this w Belichick and I clowned everyone for years saying its BRADY and now I was proven right lets slow it down w big boy ERIC already u JOCK SNIFFERS! He had LBJ and WADE so stop. Hes good but its nauseating already w narratives in media I wanna throw up w all the sports these loser clowns in media speak I just wanna slap them silly sometimes I get so mad u sound foolish. Say say things over and over again and we learn nothing. ( not talking about u -mainly ❌ESPN and some others, just wanna say that)

  25. Shaq hit the nail on the head when it comes to the Nuggets' greatest weakness. Denver lacks the killer instinct to step on the other team's neck when they are down. They allow their opponents back into the game far too often. And it's not limited to this series, these playoffs, or even this season. Whether it's the TWolves, the Suns, the Lakers, or the Heat, the opponent doesn't matter.

In game 1 we were showed a prime example of this issue. The Nuggets were way up at the end of the third quarter and looked to be cruising to victory, then they started the 4th quarter with a total lack of focus and allowed the Heat to go on an 8-0 run, forcing Malone to call a time-out and set them straight.
If the Nuggets can overcome this weakness, they should win the final in 5. If they can't, it'll be a long battle.

  26. The real issue for Denver is they have almost no depth at all. They usually play Jokic, Murray, Gordan, Porter, Brown, KCP for most of the time and they only play 8 overall. If this series goes longer they'll run out of gas. Even worse, if a couple of those can't defend on an acceptable level you have major problems, because who you gonna play then?
I think in the end the depth and versatility of Miami will proove too much for this overhyped Denver roster.
