Lakers should focus more on wings and shooters. If he falls down lower, Jordan Hawkins seems like a nice pickup

Great video. Ive been talking about Jackson Davis or Derrick Lively. I prefer Jackson Davis he seems to be the most ready and has shown that he does have range on corner.
The nba draft should include scrimmages vs D league teams or something 1v1 vs trainers is played out need to see real play vs competition

Normally you get compared one on one with another player to get drafted but Lively is an athletic freak and he's not normal.
Just focus on retaining the players we have now. Vando, Rui, AR-15, and Dlo. Should all be top priority.
That said we need a real center. One that is physically strong enough to make jokic feel the pain. Jokic has now developed his man-strength. He is now able to overpower smaller players even though he has no muscles to speak of. I don't care if they have to find him in jail, overseas, in the bottom of the pacific… Just get a big who can push jokic around, catch lobs, and grab rebounds.
I wouldn’t assume every player the lakers are working out is for the 17th pick. We’ve got a reputation of picking up Undrafted prospects immediately after the draft too.

A good Center is hard to find, and you can't coach Size. If Derrick Lively is available at 17 we have to jump on him. Lively reminds me of Javale Magee, but more athletic. We can dominate the Rim with A.D. and Lively.

Lively is smart choice, he gives great value at 17. They would not be using a lot of money on that C position. He can play d already in the nba, his offensive game just needs to develop. Realistically since AD play a lot at 5, they shouldn't spend too much at that position for a backup.
I imagine Udeze is someone they would be a prospect if he went undrafted
