I say run it back. “Kurtenbach: The question isn’t what the Warriors want to do this offseason — it’s what they can do”

“It’s more prudent to cut the check and let things play out. One final year of Green and Klay Thompson (who is entering the last year of his contract). A season for Poole and Jonathan Kuminga to improve their value to the team — and to the rest of the league. A big, possibly half-billion dollar check for a chance at some real flexibility next summer — an opportunity for the team’s new GM to make an imprint on the team.”

He’s literally saying nothing and finishing by saying next season will be like the previous one

If we’re running it back “We’re gonna be championship”.

One of the problems is the ORDER in which we have to do things. Ideally, we’d first see what FAs we could manage to add at the vet minimum. That would tell us both how far we are from what we need to do and where we need additional help the most. But in fact I believe we have to deal with the Draft, pick or trade, before anything else, then Draymond’s PO / extension situation, THEN go after FAs & trades. Gonna be an interesting ride.

A full szn of wiggs gp2 and hopefully stable roles for JP, JK and Moody sounds good to me. Pick up some backup C so Looney doesn’t have to thug it out and id be happy. No Lamb to steal the young kids minutes PLEASEE

I don’t think the league has gotten much better from two seasons ago when the Warriors won it with this same team pretty much.

An off-season to figure out the Draymond/Poole beef and get that air cleared. I think that dirty air was more of a detriment than any X’s/O’s or personnel issues.

All we really need are a servicable big man and a more reliable 3 and D wing that we can put in when Klay or Poole aren’t in rhythm.

Klay honestly needs to evolve his game and figure out a way to get more mid range success so when his three isn’t falling he can still be productive on the inside of the arc.

I would like for us to try and trade Poole for Mikal Bridges, give up some picks if we have to, I just think we’d be a more balanced team and we’ll need the defense once Draymond is gone.

I don’t think there’s any more flexibility next summer than there is now. Even letting Green and Thompson walk and not adding anyone else to the team wouldn’t get us below the salary cap by any significant amount.

I still think JP has to go eventually(maybe not this season)….he clearly has aspirations to be that lead guard on a team but it seems Steph will never slow down any time soon, plus trading him is the only way to get quality depth on this roster. IMO JK, MM, and PBJ are the only young guys that should be developed on this team. If we lose Poole maybe Rollins should be developed as well.

Let’s just hope that our team rebounds next season and hopefully that hunger from losing can unite the old guys and the young guys. At most we need one more stretch 4 four on our roster(Saric) and one more vibes guy like JTA or Lee.
