As a heat fan I would love to see Dame in Miami being that he’s my fav player 35:20 but if we have to give up to much to get em he can stay in Portland! This whole situation in Portland is getting out of hand. Does Dame know about Jody and how she gets paid from the trust? She gets a flat rate each year, she doesn't get paid more or less depending on the team's performance. She doesn't get incentives and she doesn't make a dime if the team is sold. It's not looking good for Dame. The only way out I see is if Dame requests a trade or Dame and Cronin can work together to pull a fast one on Jody because she's not paying the tax bro. For example, request a trade, Cronin makes it really look like he's gonna trade Dame, gets the fans to believe it and force Jody to sign off on a trade that wouldn't normally happen
