Blazers need to address giving opponents easy lay ups and need to realize that they don’t rebound well. They need a paint presence.

Although this team has a good "track record" of developing raw players, the team was bad last year because we had too many of them; Jabari Walker, GBIII, Keon, Watford, Little. Sharpe although showed promise, he isn't on that level where he can help turn around a season, not yet. After the trade deadline we got more filler players like Knox and Reddish.
Dame and CJ were not raw players coming out of the draft, wtf are you talking about? Yes they played in small schools compared to other D1 schools, but they were still D1 schools, they had an excellent coaching staff too. Dame talked about how much Randy Rahe drilled him on the fundamentals, CJ's team beat Duke in an NCAA tournament. Dame and CJ paid their dues. How are they raw coming out of the draft? That's a stupid statement. Look at the Miami Heat they have 7 undrafted players in their roster, all of them have 4 years of college experience, they are in the finals. Austin Reeves should have been a 1st rd pick, he was undrafted, and not surprisingly he has 5 years of college experience. I got nothing against the Thompson twins, but raw players they always come into the draft missing vital skillsets. It's always an IF they learn how to shoot, IF they have better court vision, IF they have better off-ball defense. Do these players ever reach their upside? They usually don't.

I like the idea of a future Blazers team with Simons, Sharpe, and Amen. Amen could be the main POA defender and all of them being able to pressure the rim and Sharpe/Simons would take the spacing issues off of Amen.
It’s hard for me to see a scenario in which I wouldn’t want them to make some sort of trade-down with the Rockets.
If Charlotte takes scoot and the Tockets wanna trade up to get Amen, then the blazers can draft Miller and take additional assets for other win-now moves, especially if Houston gives up more so they can entire they’d get a guard.
If Miller goes to Charlotte, then Portland moves down to 4 to get Amen, who I want them to take anyways, and get additional assets for the value difference between Scoot and Amen
If somehow Houston takes Amen, then Portland can trade the 4th pick for literally the same exact packages that they could have traded the 3rd pick for if it was Scoot, while also getting those extra assets from Houston
And if Houston takes Amen and Portland really doesn’t have any trades lined up… then we end up with Scoot Effing Henderson with the 4th pick
Can’t see a scenario in which I wouldn’t want that. Even if it’s just the 20th pick without Eason or Tate or KJM or anyone else being added

Blazers and Hornets really about to piss me off. You have a point guard and another one if you trade Dame. You a Sharpe, you need WINGS, not another guard. His brother Ausar is a better defender, scorer, and shooter and so is Miller. Stop messing it up for teams that actually need guards.
If Amen Thompson is as bad at shooting as they say he is, he might end up being another Ben Simmons. Same to a lesser degree might be said for Scoot.
