  1. It’s time to trade porter honestly . He’s not the third star of that team

  2. It makes me wonder if the Heat made the Finals last year instead of Boston. Chess match between Steve Kerr and Erik Spoelstra.

Might be the best matchup since Brad Stevens and Nick Nurse in 2020 Eastern Conference Semis in the bubble.

  3. They won by fuckin 3 points. Stop with the Sheesh crap. Denver will come next game more disciplined and find the open man to make 3 points. Look at game 2 the disparity between amount of 3s made vs amount of 3 attempted. Nuggets we’re no where near heat for 3 points made, but guess what they shot above 60% from 3 heat last game not gonna happen anytime sooner. Nuggets in 5 bitch.

  4. Just FYI, that quote is not Lao Tzu, the father of Taoism and author of 'The Tao Te Ching', but rather from Sun Tzu the author of 'The Art of War', just so you know.

    Go Heat!!!

  5. Bro.. wtf do you do against Jokic, can't let Jokic shoot, don't wanna let Jokic drive but you can't really guard him one on one in the paint, can't double or he passes out to an open guy fast as hell, and if Jokic's team shoots solidly it's the most unguardable thing since the KD/Steph Warriors.

  6. Isn’t this the exact same strategy used by the Lakers against the Magic and Dwight Howard?

  7. at first i dint actually admire coach spo . because he won chips with lebron wade and bosh on thier prime . but carrying this team to the finals with undrafted players is another story

  8. Easy to be considered the best coach when you have Pat Riley in your ear giving you the game plan.

  9. It only worked once or twice in each. Series Miami aint be able to replicate maybe once more it's tough makeing a high iq guy who rather pass 1st turn into scorer 1st

  10. You’re right. Spo’s clearly reading the Art of War. What “make him a scorer”? 😂😭

  11. miami knows they cannot lockdown jokic…so they will lock down the rest so jokic cannot find help from others 😅 that's crazy…they successfuly did it in the 2nd game by putting pressure on defense with other players …

  12. if nuggets dont win championship in the next 3 years, they are going to be like 2012 thunder instead of 2015 warriors

  13. The Jamal Murray point makes a lot of sense. Jokic will get his. But the games that Denver run away with are those where Murray pops off.

  14. I put cash on the heat to win the chip before game 1. I have a weird feeling Jimmy gonna go get that chip at all costs.

  15. When Joker works harder on the offensive end to score himself he loses steam on defense in the second half, and if he's tired I the second half and that translates into slower rotations on defense for the Nuggets, that means more open 3s for the Heat, so with Joker's usage rate for shooting high in the second half, the Heat are trading 3s for 2s typically. But if Murray or other shooters get hot, then Denver's taking more 3s also, so the focus is on shutting them down. It's a good analytical strategy. Might give them a chance.

  16. I love this sentiment that Miami is holding all the cards & can dictate at will. So Denver can’t make countermoves? Nothing they can do at all, huh?

    😂 💀

  17. If you watch the nuggets play jokic is pretty much the point guard, they give the ball to him in the post and let him pass it or score it. Who’s his go to target to find or set a screen for its Jamal Murray, you can’t stop jokic from scoring he’s gonna get his buckets, but you can limit what he can do to score by forcing him in certain directions (which you can see that’s what bam and Kevin love did in game 2 force him into a trap.) and you can limit him finding his go to target in Jamal Murray by putting someone like butler on him. But that’s not everything their doing their defensive sets have been constantly adjusting, to whatever offense they are trying to run. For example when they run that high pick and roll they run a high maned zone where jimmy butler is on jokic bam is in the paint and gabe is on Murray, if Murray goes to the screen he’s gonna run into jimmy on the switch, if he passes it off to jokic on the roll to the post bam is on jokic, and if he ignores the screen and jokic fades out butler is on jokic for the 3 and gabe is on jamal but its still favorable for the heat at that point because they messed up the play they were trying to run. It’s a mold able defense they are running and for every situation they run into that defense can be adjusted and ran in a completely different set and that is because of these heat player’s mentality and willingness to listen to the coach and the hours of practice they put in and effort they put in on defense. So it’s not as simple as “just let jokic score.” That’s part of their gameplan yes, but it’s mostly to make jokic work as hard as possible for every point he has to get out last then and make them work hard every possession and for every point they get.

Edit: sorry for the rant just thought I’d go into depth on what I see.
