What do you wanna bet we are picking Scoot and keeping him?
Former NBA and G League Ignite guard @PoohJeter is officially retiring from playing, a source said. The former University of Portland star has agreed in principle to work for the Trail Blazers’ new G League team as an assistant GM and as a player development coach for Blazers.

“Jeter also served as a big mentor for G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson. Scoot recently worked out for the Blazers, who have the third overall pick in the NBA Draft. With Blazers head coach and ex-PG great Chauncey Billups, Dame and Jeter, PDX could be a great home for Scoot.”

Let’s gooo!
They actually interviewed scoot and asked him about Pooh during his workout in Portland and scoot raved about Pooh.
$200?
I’d be stoked… if it were actually up to us.
Holy shit.
They’re gonna trade Ant and the other first huh? Replace him with Scoot, who comes off the bench as a sixth man. Forget need, take BPA. This isn’t like Charlotte who has Ball for the foreseeable future. Dame will be 33 next season, would be foolish to pass on a talent like Scoot because of him.
Oh my goodness this pretty much a lock that we are taking Scoot OMGGGGGG but what about DAME AHHHH this is so bitter sweet
IF this is true, I love that we are really investing in our future. Love that we brought in Schmitz and more international scouts, now a close mentor to our highest draft pick since we won the lottery. Feels like lot of signs point to us being a competent rebuilding team but I love Dame too much to see him on another team
Highkin responded to this tweet and added: “Of note: Pooh Jeter was in attendance at Scoot Henderson’s workout over the weekend. They were teammates with the Ignite and Scoot talked about how important he was as a mentor to him.” – very interesting stuff here
Still don’t think he falls to us. But if he does, oh boy oh boy
I am here for Scoot ‘n’ Pooh.
