What you said about Scottie is 100% how I feel. He doesn’t need this focal point pressure right now. let him grow organically. He came in as pass and defence first. The other skills take time to master.

Team needs to be shook up… something has stunk this past season. Coach was just a single issue. There needs to some big changes. Pascal or FVV or both need to go either this year… or next. For what? Well that's the real work Masai and Bobby need to do this season. It's time to pivot. The team is not fun to watch as it is… something broke this past season.

I think from a business standpoint, The Raptors as an organization have 2 options either double down on this core or rebuild. This means overpay for Fred, G money, Jacob and build a bench Or soft rebuild. Evaluate the ROI, Can we get to conference finals? Maybe similar path as Detroit Pistons from the 90s or 2000 and even be Mami Heat. Masi always operate from strength, he gave Kyle and Demar the opportunity until it was no longer feasible and Kawai happened to be available. I think the coach they hire and what they do during draft night will tell whole lot. Kyle was almost traded until he wasn't became the start of the greatest run in Raptors history.
