I don’t know if Utah would be interested if the character concerns are real. There was that report that a first round pick had such poor conditioning that he walked out of a workout and was caught smoking from a vape pen in the locker room. The guy that reported that (Parrish?) released a mock and the biggest change was that GG dropped out of the first. It’s all speculation at this point but he did have concerns in college where he called out his coaches publicly. The talent is there but I don’t know if they’re willing to take on a guy like him quite yet (assuming they are real concerns).

Could be a good developmental pickup at 16.
I think he’s the youngest player in the draft, with good size, and seems like he could become a decent nba scorer.
Does seem like he has some maturity issues and likely won’t be ready for serious NBA minutes right away.

It’s highly unlikely that the jazz have promised anybody at 16 because, who they pick at 16 will depend on who they pick at 9. And it’s been widely reported that they are taking best player available at 9 regardless of position. If Jarace Walker or Taylor Hendricks is the best player available at 9 it wouldn’t make any sense to pick another PF at 16.
I would only see a team making a promise in the teens if they only have one pick and know that they want a PF like GG Jackson.

Maybe, I could see it being Brkln. Back to back picks kind of stuck in no man’s land, don’t have their own picks. Seems like the profile of a team to swing for the fences, we equally fit that profile given the amount of picks we have and likely not being bad enough for a top 5 pick but not a FA destination

He’s cancelling his workouts because they’re going terribly. He’s not going in the first round.

In KOC’s podcast today, he said “it’s unclear whether he cancelled because he has a promise or because they’re going badly.”
