I would much rather take the high-level role player versus the blockbuster trade! You don’t need a big 3 to win a chip, this team nearly has the personnel to get the job done.
There’s no way the Kings would pay more than 2 million per year for Dwight’s services
Dwight Howard, isn't a bad idea. He can't do what Domas does. But he is a rim protector and rebounder and can finish at the rim.
So I can see that happening.
Plus he gives size and strength and can back up another teams big.
Especially if we can move the Richaun Holmes contract. Because I think Metu or Len should be the 3rd big.
I like it we got out rebounded Dwight can rebound and defend the rim 💪🏼
In the third segment, I really don't even want Jaylen Brown I'm much more excited for the future of Keegan Murray. In general, I just think it's better for us to get a solid role player.
My thoughts exactly "why not?"
I would rather go for the B tier free agent. I don't want to break up the core of the team.
I would rather sign someone like Kelly Oubre, Jr. or Jeremi Grant or bring back Harrison Barnes than go nuts in a trade and lose all of the team depth and young talent that helps the Kings contend for the next several years.
