For the love of the basketball Gods, we cannot absorb the money due Chris Paul next season. A waiver and a buyout are not the same. Please, let him go, let Russ go, let’s build a team.

Not advocating for signing CP but i think in this scenario he’ll be clearing waivers thus becoming a free agent.

Pretty sure he isn’t getting that 15.8 million from his next team. The Suns still owe him that, yeah, but he is free to sign with a new team for any amount, including the vet min..
Could totally be wrong so feel free to correct.

I mean if he clears waivers and is willing to take the minimum, I’d take him.

He wants a championship….so he will probably latch on to whichever team is willing to take him, and which has a good chance of winning a championship.
Not sure if we fit either of the two conditions.

At least Westbrook stays healthy and brings energy to every game. I’d keep Broadie over the injury prone whiner / dick-puncher.
