The Washington Wizards have agreed to hire Will Dawkins as the No. 2 executive of the front office under Michael Winger. Dawkins is a longtime executive with the Oklahoma City Thunder, where Winger previously worked before he joined the Los Angeles Clippers. Dawkins was also a candidate for the job that went to Winger. — JOSH ROBBINS, DAVID ALDRIDGE/THE ATHLETIC

We now have a Big 3. Winger is a master salary cap/trade expert; Dawkins will implement a winning culture to draw and retain players in way that doesn't involve going bankrupt, knows how to rebuild, also knows how to trade, and has a great eye for talent; and Schlenk is a league vet, a genius talent evaluator who helped Bob Myer put together today's GSW and is directly responsible for drafting Draymond at #35. Wow- this organization is going to be scary in 2-3 years.
With Dawkins leaving OKC someone has to fill the void and Bob Myers just left the warriors is this a potential landing spot for him being Presti's right hand man now that'll be the best one to fill that hole.
I loved what Dawkins did for the entire of oklahoma city to the team/organisation also he reallu helped this small market be a contender for years thru ups & downs which fans plus the whole community appreciates but no offense Bob Myers coming in would be a massive upgrade tho last season Sam lured in the Spurs legendary maybe even the best shot doctor or shooting coach ever in Chip Engelland along with long time assitant gm Vince Rozman boost our scouting in evaluating talent in the draft now we have a chance to get the one who started the warriors dynasty the man who was behind it's in Bob Myers that would be sick, a signal of the Thunder's dynasty beginning
Yessir.. Let's go fo sho….I truly can't imagine with these guys track record that Brad will be around much longer. Whether it's a short term run Retool-Run it back with Brad, Kuz and Kp or wholesale changes starting in the draft. I am good and will be patient and not compulsively reactionary to anything they do at the early outset this summer and next season đź‘Ť
