  1. Short answer no the Celtics don't need any more guard for the love of God get a competent big man you've needed one ever since Al horford left team the first time. The problem was never Marcus Smart the problem was when they went into that zone both of their bigs were useless al and Rob were useless against the zone out couldn't hit 3pt shots and refused to shoot it in the middle and we all know Robert Williams does not score. One of your big man have to be a zone buster.

  2. I don't understand these analysts and their obsession with Marcus Smart I thought Marcus Smart was excellent in this year's playoffs sure he played bad and game 7 but they all did. It is so clear and obvious that the underperforming positions on the Boston Celtics are the power forward and center.

  3. He is a floor general that this team desperately needs but he is a few years too old. Player coach perhaps. Just a thought

  4. Did Paul score 20 points some games in the playoffs? Smart did. How many steals did Paul have in the playoffs? That’s what I thought. Did Paul get his team running in the playoffs? Didn’t thing so either. So just shut up , you sound ridiculous.

  5. Nope. Pass. Only way this makes sense is if we're trading smart, brogdon AND pp this offseason.

    1. Locker room issues. too much noise here that it's a concern.
    2. We have 4 pgs who need playing time. We're developing another in Maine. We need to be getting rid of 1-2 pgs. Not bringing another in.
    3. Getting another pg who needs playing time means Mazzula stupidly leans into small ball more when our best configuration is the double big.

The celtics needs this offseason are:

    1. a new starter level rotation big who can shoot 3's that wont get abused on defense.
    2. a 3ND wing

  6. If we could get him on a cheap deal then I'm down. He makes everyone better and is just what the Celtics need on the offensive end.

  7. This is a gift from the Basketball Gods if the Celtics don’t do this and keep Marcus Smart they truly don’t want to win a Championship.
