There is a lot of stuff we need embiid to improve that are more of a priority of course. Sure we don’t want him to shoot a lot. I keep saying this, but Embiid needed an ISO offense and a coach that would yell at other players if they didn’t give him the ball, and he barely inched out Jokic. Jokic just about matched Embiid’s performance but in a proper offense that doesn’t flow through him. You wanna talk about people that only look at stats and not intangible, non-recordable things? There’s the biggest one right there. And I’m not even gonna talk about the playoffs.
Let’s just say Jokic getting finals MVP is poetic justice. I know Embiid is our guy but at some point you need to be objective here and call it right.
