I was worried about this about a month ago. A week or two ago they announced Rico and Jim sann are running it afaik. Edit: they announced both are being retained so I assume they will run it.
As long as the scouts are there who cares?

First thing a new coach is doing is getting a staff together not running draft workouts.
Just because it isnāt communicated to the public that the raptors donāt have someone qualified in charge to run draft workout doesnāt mean they have no one.
Also are your coaches building the team or your gm? You can take their input but the GM and front office make the calls. Not having a coach is just one less voice, nbd.
Also remember Masai started as a scout. He loves finding players/coaches and scouting. Half of his business in Africa is infrastructure, building gyms and then he spends time in them seeing all of the new kids coming up. Finding raw talent is what he loves best.
