KCP when he gives you great offense is a BONUS !!!!! He’s still very good even when he goes for only 7 pts on 2-5 shooting because of his defense.
That’s why DFS would be an important piece for the Lakers to get this offseason because even when he goes 2-7 for 5 pts he is STILL an impactful net positive player.

Yall don’t remember this ride? Lol KCP was streaky as hell like all other shooters. I love the dude and he burnt us, but this is how it goes with him. His value also is in his consistent effort though on defense.

He was always like this with the Lakers. I feel like people forget when he was with the team. But this is what role players do, they go through peaks and valley. That’s why it’s important to have superstars who can carry the load when the role players aren’t playing well. In the Lakers series, he was making some silly 3’s with guys in his face. But so was Murray and Jokic.

No be specific, mostly against DLO. Him and Bruce brown literally licked their chops when the worst defender in lakers history was on the court. I maintain, if we’re going to resign reaves like any smart team would, then sign and get rid of DLO ASAP.

This is KCP. He never could keep the spigot running, much like Danny Green. He would always come and go as a scorer.
Watching him against us, it was easy to tell that he was playing in a motivated “extra gear” that wasn’t sustainable and he would return to his true self as soon as he was playing somebody else.
