Jason Lloyd on Donovan Mitchell, “You have two years of control left of Donovan Mitchell and then a player option year. More than likely he’s not picking up the player option. These guys want to get back into free agency and get their next contract as soon as possible. You have two years left, do you really think after all the assets that the Cavs gave up to acquire him that they’re going to run the risk of leaving, letting him leave and getting nothing in return for him right? In 2010 when LeBron left the first time Dan Gilbert told all the people close to him “I should have traded to him with a year left on his contract.”

A realistic pick up that won’t cost all of our depth is DeRozen we can probably do Dlo plus 1 and a pick… he’s a proven star that can score and he’s consistent and is a closer .. Bulls need a PG 🤷🏾♂️

Honestly ZL or TY would be the best fit. Portland is gonna want a trade package that LA will never be able to meet without trading AD. ATL and Chicago would probably want something more reasonable than Cleveland or Portland
I'd probably do drastic changes to the roster just to get people interested in watching the next season the same old same old seems boring to me its not really what i'm looking for. They have a lot to fix in the roster mainly rebounding interior defense and shooting and two way stuff.

Don't forget FAs. Brook Lopez @ 15-20M might be possible? (I think that's what Mo Bamba is getting). Twin Robin Lopez would prob come here for a vet min. Seth Curry would look nice in a Laker uniform. Dwight Howard has been begging to return to LA. Dwight give AD help on Joker, who isn't going away. I think Kevin Love will be available too. As for trades: Trae Young would be nice & has said he wants to be in LA. Don't go after a player who hasn't expressed interest in the Lakers, or they might pull the bait & switch on us like Khawi Leonard did.
