Cp3 is old, and broken down. He is also is a jinx. All the teams he is on collapse, get injured, or choke. I definitely dont want any of him or his bad luck on the lakers. Some people dont believe in jinxes and bad luck but i do. So even if he comes on the cheap i dont want his unluckyness and his injury prone ass on the team. It's always something with that guy and his teams
Tough, I would say 18/19 Dlo for 3 years shredder I’ll pass , and I would tray get someone like trey rosier over walker ……
17 – 23 a yr for D-Lo on a 2-3 yr
5 – 7 for Lonnie or Brown
6 (1/2) of the tax payer mid level for Schroder. Dennis literally carried us offensively & defensively some games during Bron & AD's absences. Yes, he had some off nights but who doesn't. As a backup pg hes solid. He's a vital piece of our success. Same with D-Lo. Let's not forget our team chemistry pre D-Lo. From the trade deadline up until the WCF, he was exactly what we needed. Let's not undervalue him over a 4 – 6 game stretch. Not saying you do JSM, but there are those that do

For a vet min, fine. Otherwise we need a defender who can lead point of attack defender. Dennis did well with this but I like Jevon Carter if we can secure him for the tax payer MLE of $5m. Carter being a 42% 3 point shooter too.

Signing CP3 leaves them in the same position they were in last year. A smaller guard who can’t play up. He’s what 39 as well he’s not sitting in a chair to play D any more. He’s not gonna score a lot. And he’s too prone to injuries. If you wanna sign CP3 you might wanna just keep DLO

I've always wanted cp3 and now that I can get him he's too damned old. So's Life! Dlo, denden, and Lonnie if we can. And of course Hachy and Resvy should be our priorities plus if we could find them, a RAH-RAH Section of bench replacements for AD and LBJ would help immensely for the whole team outlook. We should then be in the top 3 or 4 in our conference. DON C.

Run the same team back with Tristan Thompson and Malik Beasley being the odd men out. Get Brook Lopez and someone to replace Malik Beasley (not quite sure who though).
DLO SCHOODER and even Walker have a chance of all bot coming back… and Im fine with that. The LAKERS BIGGEST ISSUE as long as they have AD N LEBRON anchoring the team will be DEFENSE. DLO BEASELEY BAMBA SCHOODER amd Walker collectively making 64$ mil. Schooder not gonna take that discount and Walker defintely wants playing time and more Money. Both RUI N REEEVes need to get resigned. So assuming the Lakers split 30 mil between RUI N REEVES SALARY BUMP. The Lakers need a Shooting big that can defend and Brook Lopez will be perfect for that. AD will have been much more effective consistently and I will take the exonomical route and get 2 defensive wings. As a bonus if they csn acquire CP3 at a cheap I go get him too. But RUI N REEVES are more than ready to score more and dont forget Max Christie will get the chance to really showcase his skill. On the DRAFT I probably take the guard from Kentucky. He is a bit small but can distribute defend and shoot outside decently. Lakers have OPTIONS also the cap is going up so there sre flexibility. Im not stuck with resigning DLO at a bargain or even acquiring KYRIE. The LAKERS LOST to Denver simply because AD was overmatch at center against JOKIC and their transition defends was extremely bad.
Why Boaton????Buck Foston….CP3 has always made bogs better…I think hes a better fit with AD than boatons guyz… He would bring the best outta AD in the PnR and Mo Bamba….hed be a perfect dit on a good deal because it would allwow us to resign AR15, Rui, Vando and Dennis or we can swithc out Dennis for Seth Curry!!!! Why everyone hating on Dlo. He a good player. Dlo helped us win 2 playoff games and against Denver Darvin Ham took the ball out of Dlo's hand making him playing off ball. Ham put the ball in Dennis hands not a pure point. DLO couldn't get into a rhythm. Ham needs to coach better.
They can't keep Schroder and Walker if they re-sigh Reaves and Rui. Because they will already be over the cap. They can only re-sign Russel what any reasonable amount because they have his Bird rights. Schroder and Walker can only come back on a minimum contract. And I think the Lakers will not get an MLE with the new CBA. And if they do a sign-and-trade, they will trigger the hard cap. They should just re-sign all the Bird players and try to trade them later on.
How about using Mo Bamba and Beasley for CP3 ?
If the Lakers can re-sign Schroder for 3.8Mil and Lonnie for 7Mill. They don't need to then try an waste money acquiring DLo, when CP3 is available too. I'd much rather prefer a trio of CP3, Schroder, and Lonnie over DLo, Schroder, and Lonnie. Because it's cheaper, Lakers bring in another quality veteran presence, CP3 will make AD offense come easier, CP3 is a better defender than DLo, Lonnie and Schroder both deserve more minutes than they would be given if DLo is on the team and tbh I only value I see in choosing to re-sign DLo instead of Schroder or Lonnie is potentially trading for someone else like Fred VanVleet or Demar Derozan. But it's a gamble to sign him just to try to get someone else of better value to the Lakers by the deadline. I'd rather see this team have the same respectble roster from training camp all the way to the end of the season if possible, unlike last year were the roster extremely poorly constructed and clearly incapable.

Can't bring back players that don't want to be coached by Darvin Ham anymore. Being demoted to the 2nd Unit while average 15 points per game and shooting 38% for 3-pointers, 2.1 made per game will not be forgiven. Klutch Sports Management will get Lonnie Walker 9 million dollars per year off his NBA Playoff performance
