Kinda hope he stays over for another year at least
This team is gonna need cheap talent and he’s not going to contribute right away (or ever) anyway
Hopefully they have a good shooting coach. If he can get over 35% from 3 he’s got a rotation spot with his defense.
He’s still only 20, and based on the overall improvement we saw in the summer last year, the stash is working just fine. He’s not a good enough shooter to earn a roster spot yet for the Celtics, but again, he’s only 20. I’m still optimistic he’ll make it over to us eventually, but this dude shot 39/29/60 for a TS of 48% on decent volume…there’s just no way, no matter how much his athleticism flashes.
This year I think we’re gonna see Sam Hauser become a bigger piece, IMO we could have seen him more against the Hawks at least even in these past playoffs. Hopefully Begarin makes some solid progress in his shooting because we will likely have some harder roster decisions to make next offseason.
