I figure we keep Poetl, Fred goes and sign and trade Gary possible. But if the bags good enough they're both gone. If Poetl moves id be surprised

@jjbuckets most teams dont have cap space so any team wanting players other than lottery teams will have to do a sign and trade.
fred vanvleet to heat for lowry and 18th pick is ideal as raptors get a serviceable pg back in lowry on the books for 1 year.
Any teams want to spend big bucks to sign a 39%FG player just a laughing stock.

Lakers can't really afford Fred without doing a sign and trade. They have 87.5M tied up in LB and AD. That leaves roughly 46M under the cap. Say they wiped the slate clean, dumped every other player on the roster. About 20M of that goes to cap holds for empty roster spots, leaving 26M for Fred. They aren't going to release everyone to get Fred who plays like he's much older than Lebron.
