You can’t outright hire a head coach who is finishing their season in another league. They must be hiring Scariolo if they’re taking this long to make an announcement.

you guys should realize that the coach isn’t the one making the draft pick…it’s the GM. I’m sure the coach has some input, but it’s not that important.
Does this mean we tanking? And coach doesnt matter at pre draft?

I really don’t see it as a big deal. Their scouting department has been working on the draft for months.
Nurse may have had sway in who to draft, but whoever is coming in likely wouldn’t make a stand on a prospect that early into a multi-million dollar opportunity.
Additionally, they likely would have discussed the draft with all finalists in the interview process.
It’s starting to feel like they’re trying to convince Sergio to accept the job, instead of the other way around

I’m so tired of this ride. Just leak to the press that it’s going to be Sergio and formally announce it then.
Wonder if this effects if they make a big trade or not on draft night
