@Toronto Raptors

The Raptors only have two coaches under contract in Jim Sann and Rico Hines, and there is a growing expectation that Hines — who the Raptors hired last season to re-energize their player development program — is a strong candidate to join Nurse’s staff in Philadelphia.

I don’t mind them rebuilding the staff from scratch but they have to show some urgency here

For real. Fuck that. Keep Rico.

He runs summer camps in LA – TOP DOGS GO THERE IN THE OFFSEASON.
the man knows what hes doing.

Harden and Rico have great history out of LA as well.

These guys are under contract though so it’s not like they can just leave because there’s no current head coach. With a new HC and no other existing assistant-coaching staff yet, there are potentially promotions on the table as well.

Nooooooo please not Hines. Superstars want run ins with him. He’s probably the single most valuable coach on the staff outside of HC after Griffin left

It seemed we largely signed Rico for Pascal and now he might be leaving? Makes you wonder

I would like to understand what they’re trying to do. From outside looking in it seems like the only thing that has happened since 2019 was players and coaches leave for bigger paydays.

While the FO replaced their staff and players with pylons, asked the remaining personnel to do more work, and then blamed underperformance on selfishness.

    Keep Jim sann

Cool guy and professional my type of guy to keep long term

Ugh, this franchise is having a serious moment right now.

So who are the people attending all these pre-draft workouts?

Rico Hines didn’t energize any of our players, everyone regressed lool

  12. shiftydnm

Nurse apparently had beef with Earl Watson who’s best friends with Rico. It also felt like Pascal and Earl straight up got him that job. I don’t see it tbh.

  13. I’m OK with that. Our young players didn’t develop much and didn’t show much growth last season

  14. 7orontoRaptors

Blow everything up, all new staff, new players, new logo lol

  15. snafubarista

At this point we should just hire Ted Lasso away from AFC Richmond.

Great opportunity for Hines to develop players for a coach who will let them rot on the bench

  17. earlyearlgray

Rico might be the only man who can get Embiid to work hard – I could see it happening

Time to clean house, players included. This shit is looking dire lmao.

If Rico Hines is under contract, is he even able to go to Philadelphia as an assistant coach?

Where are the people on the sub saying it’s fine the Raps are taking forever to make a decision that 5 other franchises seemingly had their shit together on?
