Masai can redeem himself for the last two season here but if he doesn’t Washington will love him

  4. OGnotAnunoby

Masai has to atleast call them right ?

  5. mMounirM

I’m taking the pick even if it’s Brandon Miller. Having Miller and OG on the wings sounds great tbh.

If Hornets decide to skip over Scoot Masai has a responsibility to call Portland and make it happen no matter what the ask is. I know he likes to win every trade.. we may not win it in the first 2 years but this is a move for the next 10.

Edit: Sorry Scottie off the table obviously.. I didn’t even think that needed to be said because the trade would be to build around him.. OG can go though

  7. I half expect this do-nothing front office to accomplish absolutely nothing this off-season and hand San Antonio a lottery pick next season.

Another team will probably trade for Scoot while the Raps will try to “compete” for the play-in with a lesser roster.

  8. EarthWarping

Front office probably needs to be replaced if they don’t do this

  9. Human_Manner_3370

If this is true, the Raptors need to be all over it.

  10. Altaccount_man

Even if it’s miller I’m doing the trade, it’s time to move on

  11. If the 3rd pick doesn’t belong to the Raptors then it’s a failure, and management should be on the hot seat.

Scoot or amen with Simons for pascal is the dream

Not expecting much , I’ll be hype if it happens though

  13. What_Huh_

Pascal to Portland. OG to Houston. Nuke this shit and just accept that you’re probably giving up a lottery pick to the Spurs next year.

We do this deal for Siakam 10/10 times. But I fear this is all posturing. I think its Dame that gets moved.

Siakam does not make Portland even close to a contender. They need two more rotation players and an upgrade at center. Moving Simons + 3 for Siakam makes Portland a lot better dont get me wrong, but not a contender to get out of the West.

They should be keeping #3 and moving Dame.

  15. crumpledbrouhaha

If true this is such a layup. Who else has guys like Pascal and OG available?

  16. If Miller is available at 3 I can see Portland trying convince Dame they can fit him in and doing a smaller deal with someone around Simons to beef up their depth and/or get even bigger. If Scoot falls to 3 I think that pick has a better chance at moving.

We gotta remember Portland still holds the cards here.

    Desperate to sell? Advantage Masai.

  18. NervousAd3202

Scoot is best case scenario, but I’m fine w drafting Brandon Miller too. I really just want a new lead point guard for the future, & Simons can be that for us as well imo.

  19. BurzyGuerrero

Nobody knows anything but everybody is throwing their shit at the wall hoping it sticks

  20. LemmingPractice

Every year people lose their minds about unproven college players. Wemby is a generational prospect. Scoot and Miller are not, and both have major questions.

If Scoot is the guy there, I like a lot about his game (his PnR game, and his midrange game), but his fit next to Scottie as a 27.5% three point shooter (in the G-League) is questionable. In general, the track record of 6’2″ guards who are below average shooters is not a great one.

Miller looks really nice on paper, but shrunk in big games this year, and has the criminal issues hanging in the background.

I’m not saying I wouldn’t take one of those guys, but those in this comment section saying we should move heaven and earth to make it happen are getting caught up in the allure of the mystery box.

The average result of a top 3 pick is not an All-NBA player. Just ask guys like RJ Barrett, Jahlil Okofor, Otto Porter Jr, Enes Kanter, Derrick Favors, OJ Mayo and Adam Morrison.

Masai and Bobby have a great record in the draft. If they look at Scoot or Miller and say to themselves, “that dude is going to be a star”, then I’m down for a Siakam for Simons and #3 deal. But, if they don’t feel that way about either of those guys, then, the people in this comment section talking about “the front office should be fired if they don’t make this happen” need to shut up and remember that the front office knows this shit way better than you do. The Youtube clips you watched of these guys don’t compare to the months of scouting the front office did, just like it didn’t when this sub was losing its shit at anyone who suggested the front office might take Scottie over Suggs.

  21. stinkybunger

We gotta make this trade im going to be do upset if we dont

  22. WobbleKun

the problem is dame+pascal is hardly getting out of the west. like even if they become portland raptors with og they aren’t getting out. they need og+poeltl (or some other starting center) to even have a chance of getting out imo. nurkic is old and they lack depth once they start making trades.
