This looks like we really aren’t planning to trade up.
aint gon lie, i always think that the spurs always keep it private when it comes go 0layers they are actually interested in. if you see, zero solid names, not evem guys for the late first round. there were no news about sochan, malaki, blake from what i remeber. same stuff for devin who them revealed that the spurs explicitly told him to not say a thing. so, for me, if a truly solid name comes out, unless it’s higher ranked and fall, the spurs ain’t picking him. for example, i am happy that black or wallace aren’t here, if they were i would have been puzzled. let’s hope.
While that list seems underwhelming, its likely dudes they are scoping for #44, possibly #33. Everything else going forward until draft night will be subterfuge, misdirection, and clandestine.
The PG prospects we’re interested in have alot of tape out there for them, coming from major college programs. Its not that difficult to hide an interview or a meeting, either in person or over Teams/Zoom/Webex, whatever.
After all, the Spurs aggressively pursuing someone should be a strong incentive to other teams to go take a closer look at a guy. IE, if the Spurs are interested, this guy must have something. The rest of the league understands the Basketball Gods smiled upon us once more and we’re sitting on a pile of picks. Any GM worth their salt hears the Spurs want to get a shot at Player X, they ought to see what they can do to squeeze us.
Must be eyeing second round prospects.

This doesn’t give much other than guys that could be on the summer league team or given a two way contract.
Does anyone like keyonte George? Would be cool to add another baylor guy but is he a good trade up candidate
