As a Thunder fan, I’m trying to compare the feeling of Shai’s leap into superstardom to that of Steph’s. There’s nothing doper than a guy taking that leap. I think the obvious game that comes to mind was Steph’s iconic 54 piece in the Garden, but I’m curious to your answers.

I was in NY when he lit up the garden. Curry became a superstar that game it only took some longer to figure that out.
Post season on their way to ring number one, that image of him at the line chewing the mouthpiece put him over.
Honestly, the OKC game was huge, you know the one, and then real late after he had rings, the all star games have made him an undeniable superstar because other team’s fans finally gave in.
You’re asking personally though.

I saw him play in the NCAA tournament but I had no idea he would be this great. As I recall Lebron was at one of the games.

After the mike breen double BANG against OKC
And we all realized he was a star long before. But that moment really stamped the SUPER star title
Objective_Celery_509
When he didn’t make the allstar team in 2013 and averaged like 25/8 the rest of the season.

I went to his last home game at Davidson. Realized then he was much more than a shooter. But never thought he’d be as good as he is tbh.
ElectricalStory1382
When he destroyed the big three in Miami at Miami and Lebron was in the back being a stephsexual “you gave my point gaurd 3 hesis” came off that game, also had a 55 in the garden in the regular season lost to spurs in 2nd round and it’s been on ever since
Always knew he’d be the face of the warriors, but it was neck and neck him and klay and they didn’t win till draymond came but, that run showed he had superstar in him while still playing in the system

When he hit that shot against Tony Parker in the 2013 playoffs where he lost his dribble, rolled the ball to himself, casually picked the ball up and shot it anyway with like 13 on the shotclock. I was like there’s something different about him
When they let Ellis go instead of him even though monte was “up next” and Steph was Injured all that time the first few seasons
