Probably only make this deal if the front office/Billups believe in Ayton. The raptors get the third pick and a point guard to start if/when vanvleet leaves along with the third pick. Suns get back a starting Center and some needed depth. Along with a cheap rookie they could draft. Might be a lil much from the Raptors ( I’m personally a raptors fan) but if we want the third pick in this draft I feel like this is a reasonable deal all around. A core of grant, siakam, dame and Ayton could 100% compete imo.

Not sure how the cap situation with reddish would work. Would the trail blazers have to get rid of the cap hold to open up space for ayton, or would this trade just be illegal lol if so my bad.

So the raptors trade Siakam Porter and 13th pick for Simons and 3rd pick? Why would they do that?
Much more reasonable from our end. Essentially becomes Simons and #3 for Siakam, #13, and OPJ, before any other moves. Salary doesn’t work out obviously but that’s where the 2nd trade comes in. Asset wise it’s much closer to what we want out of #3 and Ant.
Phoenix says no. Not only is that package not worth it. Cam Reddish on $17.8m/y is horrendous.
Worth noting that for Sign and Trades deals must be at least 3y in length but only 1y has to be guaranteed.

Why would we want Ayton? Why would we want Pascal if were plannin on keeping Grant? Who is our elite POA defending 3 that we need the most now that you got rid of our best trade assets?
This is the first trade from a raptors fan that isn’t a fleece for them. I’m still not sure I’d want to trade 3 for siakam, and not sure the suns would take this deal (getting a lotto pick for ayton is solid imo but they may want more ). But good job regardless.
