Didn’t his mouth piece bounce off the floor and into the crowd? Unlucky bounce but refs will always call that.

Hit the game winner too, wild series of events

Yeah, even Steph wasn’t good enough to carry the crew this year.

Watching the finals i wondered how would last year championship team fare against this year nuggets. Who will win?
Steph of course ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)

Wish we could hear what Steph was saying here because Poole’s right next to him when Curry’s explaining himself to the ref.
Steph: “I didn’t mean anything, I was just fucking pissed at Jordan”.
Poole: “Yeah man, he’s just furious at me”

Example #9282 of why I hate Jordan Poole.

That was this season!? Feels like a lifetime ago. I swear, that last season felt like five seasons in one.
I hope like crazy we don’t have to go through something like that again!

There was a stretch of like 5-6 games where Hordan was single handedly blowing games down the stretch in the 4th and you could visibly see the vets bubbling. Lol Jordan just nonchalantly tossing up early shot clock heaves and mind his business.

And then Poole greets Steph in the tunnel post-game by throwing his own mouthpiece further pissing off Steph? Good times. Fucking Poole.

That’s what happens when a low IQ player has a green light. Man was taking nearly 8 threes a game and hitting them at below league average

In hindsight, the shot wasn’t even that bad. He was decently open and the shot was very close. Obviously I would take a Steph 3 over a JP 3 any day, but the shot itself isn’t that bad.

Just watching the games it seemed like Steph and Klay got tired of JP’s chuck from 30 ft with half the shot clock left… their body language (mainly Klay’s) said it all

I’m no Poole defender, but the narrative around this shot is strange to me.
Two games before this Poole leads the second unit to a huge road win against Cleveland.
The game before this Steph *loses* the game in the fourth by playing hero ball against the Nets. He goes off script and takes a handful of terrible shots and throws away the win.
This game, JP is a team high +16 and makes the late game winner against a very good Grizzlies team.
But all people remember is Poole’s bad shot and Kerr yelling at Poole in Cleveland. It’s just weird how people latch onto narratives rather than the actual scoreboard.
ps For the reading impaired, I’m obviously not saying JP was perfect and Curry was the problem this entire season. If you read this and think I’m saying JP > 30, you are an idiot.
