Consolidating now before you're even a winning team and putting all your chips in will only end in a nothing playoff run and this rendition of the Pistons will fizzle out, with nothing to show for. You must build internally. Develop our young guys into the stars and add depth around them. This thought that you're going to bundle a bunch of assets for an 'all star' at this point in the rebuild is a sure fire way to never win a championship with this core. You would lose too much future draft capital. & you will not be getting anybody on the market who has the talent to get you over the hump. Those guys are already living fat & sassy with their teams, having success.
You don't draft defensive specialist with the 5th pick.
Jarace is not the option at 5. He’s literally shorter than Cade.
You would have to trade for harris and cam johnson. Lol the nets didnt trade for him to just let him walk out the door for nothing. Pistons fans. Please stop thinking were just gonna get cam johnson. Also i have no idea how you get harris without trading the 5th pick. I think the nets would also want pick 5 for johnson in a sign and trade. Reminds me of how all these pistons fans thought we could just make ayton an offer and the suns would just let him walk. This free agen class sucks. I think we will get some vets on lower contracts and go after the big fish next off season.
Sources are saying taylor hendricks is their top prospect and cam whitmore is number 2.
Walker is my guy. Defensively versatile, athletic, high iq, really good passer and ball handler, and will fit in perfectly on a Monty Williams offense. Needs to clean some inside scoring, but i think thats an easy fix. I also wouldn't be surprised if we make a trade with Dallas for the 10th pick as well.
I'm confused by your opinions. The last few weeks you guys have been saying that this team sucks. Now you are talking about win now. There isn't a win now. This team has always been about the young players developing to the next level. You guys have been ragging on Weaver for months, calling him daddy Troy.
