Game over. Denver’s game plan to protect EVERYTHING except the left corner 3 is genius. Piss off they just made shots Vs us.

Nuggets have a great defense and they score more often, giving them a chance to set the defense.

Yeah man. Sometimes you run into a buzzsaw AND THEN your 1st teamer gets hurt 1 play into game 7. Let the C’s run it back with Sam Cassell onboard and I’m fully in!

They used all their 2K player powers in the Celtics series and had nothing left for the Nuggets

Nuggets should thank us we made these bums overconfident!

It’s a the law of averages. They got crazy how and played out of their skins unfortunately for Milwaukee, New York and Boston. Denver caught them when the cooled down plus they are playing awesome defence.

Regression to the mean is a bitch.

That said, I would be interested in seeing a similar heatmap for just open shots: the Nuggets are playing tighter, more connected defense than we did, but if you control for that… pretty sure it would look exactly the same. Fuck the Heat.

Is this a reflection of Nuggets defense or luck on Miami’s part? Bit of both?

  9. Dude they combined for 7.3 FGA/game vs us and 3.3 FGA/game vs DEN at the rim. Preventing those shots is defense too.
