Payton Pritchard has the skill set and work ethic and is motivated to be a great player in the league
Cassell played with Hakeem, KG on Minnesota, and then with KG and Pierce on the Celtics. He won 3 rings, and had 1 all star appearance. He has been an assistant under T. Lue and Doc. It is a good hire.
I'm not sure what Gallinari gives you over Grant? Gallo, God love him, was not a good defender and was slowish. But now coming off his leg injury? Even slower. Grant plays D and Gallo's next season is likely to be an off season shooting-wise due to weaker legs and not enough real baskteball. Grant hist 3 points just fine.
Why not play Muscala, Pritchard, Kornet, Houser, Grant MORE in regular season and get them experience and confidence they need.? Save the main core some minutes! Is Mazulla worried about regular season record and seeding 🤣 Look at Lakers and Miami…and look at the Bucks and Celtics. What good "home court" and seeding did for you?
