If we can get min vet CP3 I would absolutely take him over Shroeder as a sub (or starter in place of Vando).

Shroeder is clear as a defender but his passing is seriously lacking, CP3 would run the offence as a rotation guard much much better. Given the quality of our scorers and other defenders, a better distributor would be more valuable than the better defender over the season I think.

Counter argument: how many times during the year did we complain because LeBron and/or AD would sit and our offense would disintegrate? I can’t remember how many times we built a lead with the starters and our bench gave the lead back. CP3 would help us keep or even extend leads.
Defense would take a step back for sure, but offense would be much, much better.
(For what it’s worth, I’d love Dennis back).
