  1. Jimmy doing he’s best playing on both sides of the ball but in this finals unless someone starts showing up there’s only so much a player can do.

  2. Alright JJ Imma throw you a follow bro. I'm going to start watching, listening and contributing. I still stand on what I said earlier on the whole pretention thing but whatever man to each his or her own you know. And I got to be tough on you just like Stan was because you know why not right. It seemed to work out for your career so I look forward to catching up on your viewpoints

  3. The obvious reason is he is wore down look at his trajectory from start of playoffs to now. Its criminal how Riley has not given him help after bubble he needs a 2nd scorer that can carry team herro is a bench player that scores similar to Poole low i.q. heat check guy. Riley should be ashamed

  4. Hey Max Strus has 17 points in 2 games thats not bad at all.
    *****checks notes
    He's played 4 games.
    JJ is too nice

  5. They did the same thing in 2020 finals. Butler played great and people over rated him. Same with jokic. Lets slow down before u say jokic is better than shaq and jimmy is better than jalen brown

  6. I love the heat culture & how they never give up..that being said Boston would've been a better match up for Denver..Miami goes cold from the field for stretches & against Denver that's the worse thing you can do.

  7. The heat need to make sure they keep Bam, Butler and Duncan. Outside of them 3 I’d trade any and every I could to get Trae Young Or Dame Lillard

  8. I bet if they offered him 10 million extra dollars to shoot it 35 times a game, he damn well would. He's showing he's a bit of a fraud who hides behind the act of 'getting everyone else involved'

  9. Who is this Jason guy and why do I think he was hired for diversity… the “pride” kind…

  10. WE all know jimmy needs one more dude.

Bam is cool and all. But he needs a sniper, a scorer, something else, to get that ring.

If it was back then, 1 star per team, i think jimmy would be get one at least, but now? Where you need atleat 3 stars to compete

  11. sorry JJ but im not buying it, heat win or go home depending on jimmy perfomance if you like it or not, we've seen the heat shoot below 50% from 3 multiple games, their undrafted roleplayers are COOKED. himmy looked passive almost to an default against them 6ft9 players, this is not celtics with smart or bucks drew these bois in denver strong tall mf's where they'll make you shoot below 50% fg

  12. Yea people got thrown off how good Jimmy is consistently by some of these earlier series. He's a great player. But he's not superstar elite on a consistent basis. He's top 15. People thought he was top 5 all of a sudden . It's really showing in this series. He's having a good series. He's playing Jimmy ball. People just don't realize that

  13. we know hes an all around player who makes the right play all the time. sometimes tho u just have to take over when guys arent hitting, its not like hes playing w stars out there

  14. Or he could be hurt. Or he could be scared of the size. Or he’s not consistently aggressive and should be. A lot of possibilities. The easy out is to say he’s not this kind of player. Who cares. You can improve and make adjustments. He’s certainly capable of dominating. It’s either the opponent, he’s hurt, he’s not consistent, or he’s too passive. Take your pick and maybe a combo of multiple things.

  15. The problem with Jimmy is that his game is that of the 3rd best option or a role player. But he thinks he’s a #1 guy

  16. He’s not really that guy that Torched the Bucks 😔.
Even the role players on Heat at this point must hear Jimmy say during interviews that he trust them and he will keep passing to them and think to themselves… “Bro just go Godmode like against the Bucks Please Jimmy!!!”

  17. The most frustrating thing about Jimmy right now is……… he seems too busy posting on his Instagram Story……… then locking in on the task at hand…….. that’s what me & the majority of the people who I talk to………… are disappointed in

  18. Either Jimmy is Gassed & exhausted……………. They did come from the play in tournament…………. Went deep in almost all their series………. And the Nuggets basically swept all their opponents…. So they are fresher………. Or Jimmys still feeling that ankle injury…….. or 3rd option. It’s both

  19. Wait….Jimmy who? the guy everyone said would crush the nuggets? the guy who the nuggets had no answer for? pashaw…Jimmy milk carton…that what i call him.

  20. JJ is the most over praised roll player 😂. Had 2-3 plays called for him and acts like he’s a franchise guy now

  21. He doesn't force shots, he's cold and calculated and methodical with the way he scores. He tries to make the "right play" and he does make that play most of the time. If he knows his match up is bad (like versus Tatum or Gordon) where he's disadvantaged he doesn't force the shots. He'll look to draw and kick etc. I mean that's the ideal player you want. I mean, they're literally in the finals this year…like people want to criticize this type of game play but it's literally what put them in the finals. He carried them the whole post-season so you'd be an absolute moron to try and find fault with this type of game play.

  22. Jimmy hasn’t been 100% since he sprained his ankle in the Knicks series. He only missed one game after turning it and has been playing 40ish minutes every other day or every two days for weeks so it hasn’t had a chance to heal. As for Max remember if it wasn’t for him hitting 7 three’s and scoring 31 against the Bulls in the 2nd round of the play in the Heat may not have had a post season.

  23. I love JJ talking about who Jimmy is as a player because I think fans sometimes don't try to understand how players are actually wired. Jimmy and Jokic are similar to a LeBron James or Larry Bird in that yeah, they're going to score, some games and some series they are going to score a lot, but they also are going to pass as well because it's who they are. They're scorer-passers, they need to do both, they're wired to do both, they can only sustain being scorers or only being passers for a limited amount of time, eventually they will go back to being who they are. It's why a Kevin Durant, Kobe, Jordan, or a Dominique Wilkins are scorers, they're wired to score. Doesn't mean they won't pass, some games they pass a lot but eventually they're going to go back to being scorers. Consequently you have a Magic, Chris Paul, Steve Nash, guys who just love passing the ball, it's who they are, it's who they are wired to be. Magic talked about how he had to train himself to be more of a scorer as Kareem aged, but at heart he was always a passer and it's what he was wired to do.

We always want to compare players and understand why they don't do this more or that less but in reality they are wired a certain way, it's hard to undo that wiring, and while they can improve in doing certain things more or less, in the end they're still going to play more how they are wired to play.

  24. How ppl going to call Jimmy a fraud? He going up against the best team as the 8th seed. I do wish he would light that fire though.

  25. Next season The heat need to build a team around size
Their lack of size this season cause them to not attack the paint

  26. He plays like a no. 2 guy. So far his performance is a negative in plus minus stat.

  27. Well it's not enough. I mean, Heat culture is cool and all, very inspiring stuff, but if Spo is such a great coach, Miami is such a great organization, and the point is to win championships, why not bring in some guys who give can you the best possible chance to do that? If we're saying that's not who Jimmy Butler, a muthafuckin' dude, really is.

  28. The only people who misjudge Butler are people who don't know basketball. He is a good to very good (sometimes) NBA player. That's it. He is nowhere near a superstar, nor has he ever been. It's ridiculous that people even debate that. Even calling him a true star (as a player) is pushing it. He's the type of player who can play at or close to all star level most years, regardless of it he makes the team, but there are a lot of guys like that.

  29. Where’s all that trash talk now jimmy was talkin to j holiday??? Where he go?? One good series and now that’s it, you’re done???

  30. Jimmy is the type of guy who won’t make excuses and wont admit his ankle is not 100%. But the fact is since he sprained his ankle earlier in the playoffs he has lost some of his explosiveness and quickness when driving to the basket. He’s toughing it out.

  31. The Heat already showed that they are very capable of beating the Nuggets in game 2. Then, they all just disappeared. It's really weird.
