this game brought me joy. then harden forgot how to lay the ball up. then he went off, then forgot again. such a perplexing performance

Call me a pussy, but highlights from the past season are still too soon

I have more faith in this guy stringing together 15 good games in the playoffs then shake Milton being our starting point guard and making it out the second round.

This game was special man… I’ll never forgive this team for not winning this series

This game gave me hope. Such a great ending; the Maxey steal, the Harden three, Paul Reed with huge free throws. The next night Embiid wins MVP and announces he’s back. Then a week and a half later it was absolute misery.

Harden had some great games and hit some huge shots.. that’s awesome and he was a huge reason they were able to win those 3 games.. the problem was in the losses his performances were just so pedestrian.. just so way below what was expected from him if he turns in a couple 22/10 performances maybe they win a 4th but his numbers and efficiencies in the losses were brutal

Harden deserves some shit for his overall performance but I still don’t think people realize that series would’ve been a *clean* sweep without him. Willed us to 2 victories on his own.

Injuries aside I can’t remember the last time Embiid willed us to a round 2 win

Speaks to the ineptitude of this team that we needed multiple Harden hero ball games to even be within striking distance of winning this series. Joell’s legacy in the gutter.

I seriously think this team is a better all around team with ‘Harden or Embiid’ than with ‘Harden and Embiid’

This was his first 40 point game as a Sixer, game 1 in the playoffs on the road with Embiid out. Still a fun sixers memory
