whoever told him to attack the basket straight up and stop all the acrobatic shit deserves a medal.He got his confidence back from not missin 75 percent of his paint shots
this is the tatum we all know!! the one who attacks the rim uses his midrange to create a hot hand and not chuck up threes. when brown is off shooting he attacks the rim and turns to his midrange. tatum should do the same and you see the results right here. when he is attacking the rim and using his midrange and creating himself to have a hot streak is legit unstoppable💯

This was a game that Tatum realized he's 6'8 and can get to the rim at will. Enough with the awkward crafty layups, just go strong. It's like he thinks he's Steph or Kyrie that has to rely on weird fancy shots to not get blocked. Even in this game where he was finishing pretty consistently throughout the night, there were still a few shots that he made a lot tougher than they needed to be.
Finally he attacks the rim. Tatum attacking the rim will break down the defense. Then he will easily be able to pass the ball to an open guy. Its not as easy as its sounds but its Tatum. If he attacks the rim ofc the defense will help out. Enough with that side step 3 during close games. That stuff is cool when we got a lead.
Tatum needs to have more of these nights, and hopefully stop chucking up 3’s if they aren’t there. He needs to drive more and utilize his size more to attract 2-3 guys in the paint and he can just kick it out to like white or horford for a wide open three

As long as Tatum goes downhill like that, nobody stopping them all the way to a🏆& Timelord has to be healthy
