  1. If you trade three firsts and a swap only to finish .500 on the season, you’ve already lost the trade.

  2. It was evident yall fleeced them from the moment it happened lol now we just get to watch it all unfold.

  3. As far as him being the second best player on a championship team, i think it has less to do with how good he is and more to do with what he brings to a team. There are guys who you could argue Dejounte is better than individually (Franz Wagner for instance) who i would much rather have over Dejounte because they contribute to the team and impact winning. He's just not a winning basketball player, stylistically. He's a stat machine.

  4. Spurs gave DJ the most shots per game since Tim Duncan.. in 2001. Thats when we traded him.

We inflated his value and robbed the crap out of the Hawks in that trade. I would feel bad if it was any other team.

  5. It would be crazy if somehow he was back playing with the Spurs. Lol imagine the defensive potential. Of course he would be a major discount lol

  6. 😂😂😂😂
the 🤡 DJ keep twitting stupid laugh emoji, guess what? the most LOL is Spurs front office now with Wemby landing on 22nd June 😂. tq DJ & GSG..!

  7. He better get in touch with his mentor… Jamal Crawford to learn how to be the ultimate professional. Cause he's going to start to be a stain in the league. I'm glad the Spurs got rid of him. He might go down as the best trade asset we've traded in Spurs history. Getting Wemby… possibly another high pick this year and in the future!

  8. If things goes right for the Spurs and wrongs for ATL, this will go down as one of the most one sided trades ever

  9. Here ya'll go again, letting the media tickle your ears. Ya'll did great. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for ya'll for getting Wemby. I want to see the Spurs be good again. But stop with this "fleecing" crap. Nobody got fleeced.

  10. New CBA put the hawks in an even worse position, which is insane, because they were already in a bad spot. They’re heading towards being the most expensive roster in the league if they keep all these guys, and that’s not ideal for a team that finished in the play-in. San Antonio won on three levels: they got cap space, they got plenty of draft capital, and they got the #1 pick after dealing murray and tanking. I’ll be honest, I never quite understood the trade from atlantas perspective, but I ain’t complaining haha

  11. DJ ain't worth no 30 mil, especially with his immaturity. Hopefully he can get talked into taking 20 mil and the Hawks can get a role player or two with the rest if they want to win

  12. DeJonte is a fine player, but he's not a number one or two on a championship team. They thought they'd get a secondary creator and defensive stalwart to pair with Trey Young. They just didn't count on how dysfunctional Trey is and that DJM isn't good enough to overcome that.

The Hawks, like many other franchises, are simply not well run and seem to always make these bad bets. They're just like Minnesota and others. They get a good player or two, make a little playoff run for a couple or three seasons, then, because they're counting on the Josh Smiths and Trey Youngs of the world, once that team blows up, they suck for a couple years until they bottom out and get lucky with another good player, good enough to make some regular season noise.

  13. Dejounte was my favorite player for a long time but since he left his ego has consumed him its a shame

  14. Y’all fans fake man, when Murray was here everybody praised him now that he gone y’all acting like he ain’t good enough.

  15. Whether DJ is a good 2nd option for a contender would depend on who the 1st option and the other players are. He really is talented, but gotta find the right team and get his ego out the way.

  16. Lez gooooo! Trae Young prolly gone too xD, and poor John Collins, he had a lot of potential that got ruined
