Here’s Why Getting DeAndre Ayton Would Be The Sign Of A Failed Offseason For The Trail Blazers

DeAndre Ayton is a very interesting target, but I believe it would be the sign of a bad offseason… and it’s not because of Ayton.

  1. It’s to bad phoenix doesn’t have anymore assets, dame for ayton plus picks some players not a bad rebuilding if?? Blazers keep 3 pick ant 🐜 sharpe

  2. If we get ayton without using the 3rd pick…I disagree cause that mean we can still use the third pick for a Allstar

  3. One thing I do know.. the Lillard Nurkic pick-and-roll isoball is not working. Stars you bring in can't play with it. Whenever Lillard is out of the game they all performed better. Let's just face it! It's not working in Portland anymore. Shut it down.

  4. Ayton doesn’t want to be in phx and everyone’s knows it so the suns have no leverage, we could get him for nurk the 23 pick and maybe little or johnson

  5. Ayton if he can get his head right is one of the best centers in the NBA. If under Dames mentorship he can get his head right that could be an absolute steal if they trade 23rd for Ayton, maybe a 2nd or 2.

  6. I believe Ayton is arguably better than everyone U mentioned for trade excluding J.Brown. Pascal & OG ain't worth a 3rd overall pick.. neither is Ayton but he's better than who you're advocating for. Ayton didn't get a decent amount of touches in the paint like he should've. It's been all perimeter in PHX for years, so much so that Ayton even was on the perimeter more times than I would like to see if it's my Big. I believe in Dames' leadership qualities combined with competent coaching,
we'd have a decent building block @ center. Something the Blazers have longed for for years is a decent rim protector that can set solid screens and finish @ the rim. None of that is or has been Nurkic. I think Ayton instantly makes Portland better on both ends of the floor‼️
