No one in this draft is worth Towns except for Scoot. And I honestly don't think we are prying him from Charlotte. They need a rain maker like, people who need a rain maker need one. Don't want Brandon at 3. There are some pieces but worth towns and trip to the finals next year? Not sure…
Totally disagree. The Rudy/Karl pairing is a horrible pairing. Karl is soft when it matters. I predict there will be a trade.
I just can’t see the logic of running it back, way too many casualties of running it back for it to be worth it.
Running it back is detrimental to the Edwards Mcdaniels window and it just is not worth it, would be a massive mistake

I think the only reason to trade Kat is because of his contract. It'll be hard to trade him next season.
Only worth trading if it gets am early pick, a solid player and a later pick and salary dump.
Always thought KAT for 3, Simons, Nurk and a 2025 1st (maybe some more) was a good deal. Get Miller or Scoot to add to the team and resign Naz. Also rumors of Kyle Kuzma possibly if they have some room (working out with Gobert).
Honestly I would rather have 3, Simons, maybe another 1st and Naz and maybe Kuzma back then just KAT.

Why so much talk about Kat being traded? Because wed get more?
A gm should be focused on maximizing the stars on the team. Rudy is not doing that and since Tim painted himself in a corner hes more concerned about smashing the wall to let himself out while trying to convince you that a door was needed there. Rudy is not getting younger and hes getting paid a lot. Why keep him? His value will drop every year so he should be traded asap for a PF. And having two more younger guys with Ant and Jaden makes a hell of a lot more sense than a 32 year old slow center.
Kat is still a top 10 center despite his faults. The team needs a PF like Bam and AG. A PF who can rebound and defend. Kind of like Van but with better hands and inside scoring.
I think it’s too big of a gamble to wait next off season to trade KAT. That salary escalation could end up being a crippling roadblock to getting value anything close to what he could get now. Once you hit that 50mil a season hit you’re talking about deals having us taking back bad (possible long term contract) attached to players nowhere worth it. Trading him this off-season could not only net the Wolves a great pick but also a decent player or two and no long term cripplingly bad contracts. Time to cut the loss and get a good return now instead of the risk of getting far worse return. A big part of this is making a deal like this in time instead of a year too late
