i don’t remember last year but Miami has been ahead this whole playoff run. they’ve had a cushion and we’re able to lose games. no back on the wall besides game 7 in Boston.

I find it annoying that they are finding small things to talk negative in regards to Herro coming back, oh he gonna. affect the team, he won't do much, he hasn't played, basically a negative. BUT at least he f*** playing in do or die, ben Simmons was injured and he had a chance to come back the final games against Boston, kawhi too and I like his game and they didn't play. I respect Herro, can you say that for current players that do the same
Even if fully healthy Herro wouldn't make a difference. He may help the Heat score an extra 20pts, but his liability on defense would allow Denver to also score an extra 20pts. There is a reason why in the last several years the Nuggets had won 9 out 10 meetings with Miami heading into the finals and were on a 6 game winning streak. Heat's only chance is hoping that Denver makes mistakes, that is the reason they were barely able to steal game 2 even when shooting 50% from 3.

Unlike when Butler, Spoelstra, and other Heat players were speaking to the media during the ECF when the Celtics almost made history with their comeback, this time at the mic since Game 4, even though Butler and Spoelstra say all the right motivational words like "one quarter at a time", "we just need to make our 3s", and "everything can change if we win game 5", if you closely observe their tone of voice and body language, they really do not believe what they are saying to the media and their body language and voice yesterday sounds far more like they have already lost game 5. At the media meet yesterday, all the Heat members just look both emotionally and physically tired, as if they are out of better ideas on how to stop or even slow down Denver. Their demeanor reminds me of an NFL team who won their first game but has since lost 8 straight games telling the media, "We are not out of it. We just need to win out from now on to get to the playoffs", but deep down inside, they really do not believe it. But what else are you going to tell the media?
