Lol, it became a classic 1:30 into the pod. #agegape
Jury Duty is solid. Conor is a bozo. Time to start up the Summer of Serbia.
For some reason when I hear "Darko" I get queesy and cringe when I think of Darko Milicic🤢. It's gonna take a minute for me to hear the name Darko and not associate it with failure🙃. As a Raps fan, I want DARKO to succeed 🙏
Who gets a ring is up to the team, the NBA doesn't have an official rule. Basketball Reference only counts you as a champion if you played at least one playoff game for the team that season.
Well, Jimmy had that "poorman's Kawhi" tag. Midrange operator, playoff performer, excellent defender, took their team to the finals. Difference: Kawhi won 2 titles, Jimmy about to lose 2
Re: Jimmy Butler. Are we over-inflating his value, especially in this era of social media? I feel like he’s one superteam away from a championship, and a title removed from a hall of fame certainty.
"dating age gapes." I'm crying. 😂😭
I’m happy for the Nuggets but I need them to switch back to those cornflower blues. The navy blue just ain’t hitting it for me.
Mark Jackson cant wait to vote Jokic top 6 in finals mvp voting and only say sorry once caught
34:50 coaches make a big difference even in the NBA. Look at Orlando vs Miami.
So jury duty is just the truman show?
The confidence with which J.E. said “dating age gapes” had me chuckling
Woj: "Miami's Tyler Herro — who was upgraded to questionable — is expected to suit up for Game 5 and attempt a return tonight, sources tell ESPN."
I see no confirmation of Valanciunas getting a ring, from where is Tas getting this?
I get that trey is a Jimmy fan from his bulls days
But I'm not sold on Jimmy > pg…
Pg ran into the lebron heatles in his best years and almost got the best of them. Since then it's been unfortunate with injuries himself and teammates. Jimmy has only gotten far in the post season after lebron left his conference. And even then he couldn't get past lebron in the finals.
Still think pg is the better player. Just feel pg can be relied upon more consistently whereas Jimmy's big games seem more like anomalies…
Cyraxx is the only Drift King.
Welcome back trey and cool cap.
After hearing Skeets say "age gapes", it's hard to hear about Gabe Vincent and Max Strus.
My comp for Jimmy Butler is always Paul Pierce. Neither guy did one particular thing on the court exceptionally well or displayed high level athletic feats outside of being tough as nails. Both elevated their games in the playoffs and were overlooked/underappreciated compared to the stars of the league at the time.
I work at a major theme park in Anaheim California. Even if Conor didn’t hit the guys head directly, sometimes those headpieces are secured on the head in a way that any unexpected hit to the head can do some serious neck damage to the performer inside.
Quick correction: Giannis had a 50-14 DOUBLE-double in the '21 Finals, not a triple-double. — JE
Age ain’t nothing but a gape
Aye boys, could I inquire about possible employment?
Re: giving Bones a ring. There's definitely some beef between him and the team (I suspect Jamal) that makes that one tricky. When Murray/Porter returned, other players' roles had to be reduced and Gordon is an example of a player who bought in and was happy to sacrifice touches; Bones wasn't.
Bones had a promising rookie year, but this season was beyond abysmal. He was the worst defender on the team (I recall mainstream media referring to him as the worst in the league), played selfishly on offence and shot poorly, and visibly didn't get along with Malone (they had a shouting match during a game), let alone his teammates. After the trade, Murray had a pointed remark about everyone on the team being willing to do what it takes (thus implying Bones wasn't). Bones, for his part, commented that the Clippers had two great players and the Nuggets had one (Jokic).
Contrast this with Harris and Morris (and Barton), and those were all players that were (and are) beloved by the team, critical to establishing its culture and who were willing to make the sacrifices Bones wasn't. Harris, for example, was the first player to figure out the PnR with Jokic. They were traded for talent acquisition, not chemistry reasons, and ultimately part of the formation of the team's selfless identity whereas Bones was the antithesis of this identity.
McGregor absolute GOAT
1-0 versus vaguely anthropomorphized elements
This finals has not been good only one competitive game..
we need Grammarly for Skeetsy!
No way Bones gets a ring LOL he was talking shit about Jamal Murray and Jamal is one of the reasons why they will get a ring. That's disrespect to Jamal. "Hey we're gonna give a ring to the person who said you were not good." The real question is: Does Davon Reed get a ring??? 👀👀👀
Heat in Five
cold open: marvel vs FF?? family!
The Dario hire sounds good for the Raps.
