Sam's in a tough spot either way. If he's an improvement from what we had last year but has his inevitable ups and downs, then he'll probably lose his OC. Then he'll be learning a new offense again. And that's not optimal. If he disappoints then he'll be a backup hoping to compete and waiting for an injury here or elsewhere
