I disagree with on the Mobty hire. I believe they agreed on Monty as coach. What they most likely disagreed was how obtainable was he and it was probably the best course of action to hire one of the other 3 candidates.

I see a lot of Pistons fans wanting Taylor Hendricks at 5 but I just dont see that happening. I get it hes a great fit but having poured over every scout both online and nationally nobody has Hendricks anywhere near a top 5 talent.
Maybe they get a 2nd 1st round pk using cap space or maybe Detroit trades back (unlikely) but at 5 it appears to be between Whitmore/Walker & Thompson twins.

Biggest takeaway for me is Weaver & Gores being in sync with this hire. Yes Gores threw the bag 💰💰💰at him but you get the impression that they know it’s time to get this rebuild out of 2nd gear & Monty is going to lead them back to prominence
Now that i think about that is messed up we took monty away from his sick wife lol smh. Go pistons!
