Zion Williamson might be the most overrated player in the NBA right now. People are so glued to the upside that they casually overlook the fact that if we used WAR for basketball, that kid would be below replacement level. Games played at above market rate is how you get value out of a contract, and how many games has he played since being drafted? He makes traumatically bad decisions off the court and has been getting paid (illicitly) well before even coming into the league. You think Jordan Poole had an attitude issue this year? Zion might not be outwardly pissy like JP but he takes the cake in being dead weight in and out of the locker room. To be fair though, at least Zion doesn't think he's the smartest guy in the room.
Look, I'd legitimately rather have the last pick of this draft than Zion on my team, because then I'd at least have more cash flexibility. Anything the Pelicans get back for him is just pure value.

I would try to work a deal for Pascal Siakam and Og Anonoby for Jordan Poole and Kuminga. The trade works for both teams timelines.
Even if you somehow could jack siakam for Poole and kuminga, where does he start? Wiggins or draymond would have to be pulled
Whatever player we get for Poole has to be able to do something when Steph is out. We win games off the back of Poole when Steph is out Kat is not that guy. Siakim is though when u give him Klay Thompson and wiggins to run with. We've seen kat and Wiggs….I don't want it

You start with defense by getting a rim protector. Ask anyone who played w/D Howard or Dream, how much they helped the perimeter defenders.
Poole does not get to the free throw line. He drives to the basket, falls down for no reason, and turns the ball over.
