  1. 5:45 This graph is why FG% and 3P% are misleading. Steph in 2016 finals had 58% true shooting. An average performance efficiency wise for a superstar. Jimmy in the finals this year: 51%. That's literally worse than Westbrook this year, who can't shoot or finish in the paint.

Given their shot profile, you'd literally take Steph even if he shot 35%, over Jimmy. That's how bad Butler was in the finals.

  2. Happy to see Nick get ripped apart in this segment. His blind analysis with zero context with his stats is getting pretty annoying

  3. I used to be a nick wright stan but this playoffs/ NBA season has exposed me to how bad he overdoes his takes with confidence. He’s really wrong a lot sadly and inconsistent and he used to not really be but he can’t admit when he’s wrong

  4. stats with no context. Butler needs to win before he gets the benefit of the doubt. Curry’s a 4 time champ. he can have “bad” final numbers

  5. Hès still a 2023 Eastern conference finals champion with an Eastern conference trophy. Just because he didn't become the ultimate champion he is still a CHAMPION

    MELODY,

  6. Nick is right. Can’t go from the heat can’t beat the Celtics to they should’ve swept them and then won the chip

  7. Thank you Nick for destroying Broussard's moronic take. Only someone in media would be so arrogant as to think the media's judgment is what determines a player.
Brou: Media would destroy him if he were a superstar (then proceeds to destroy him)

  8. Jimmy's playoff run is a bit overstated imo …
1st round – beat Bucks with Giannis missing for 2 games.
    2nd round – beat Knicks…. Ok.
ECF – beat Boston but Caleb Martin was MVP of the series.
Finals – One of the worst finals performances by a star in recent memory.

What am I missing? The media just needed something to talk about.

  9. Jimmy Butler IS NOT a superstar, and Nick is a fool for prematurely annointing him that, he's a good player, But he's not exceptionally great at any certain thing. He's a good defender, good free throw shooter, he can be a good mid-range shooter, but that's it

  10. Thank you Nick for sticking by the Heat and Jimmy 🙏🏾🔥 What he did to bring the Heat to the Finals AGAIN can't be understated.

  11. The HEAT had a great run.

Jimmy hasnt been noteworthy since the 2nd round.

  12. If Jimmy Butler isnt a superstar than Joel Embiid is at best a great role player. The man took the Heat to two NBA finals and one ECF in 4 years.

  13. He destroyed both Boston and Milake, the 2 favorites for the title along with Denver, I think Jokic was just ungaurdable and unstoppable. Simple as this

  14. Since when are loser’s playoff runs remembered? His run won’t be remembers just like ever other runner up in history. Second place is never remember sadly, just the reality of it.

  15. Chris nailed it. He didn’t get crushed and he’s not a Greta anything on offense. He’s just a competitor. Which is extremely respectable but it’s not superstar status

  16. Nick has an ocean for his mouth and when his predictions are wrong, he back peddles faster than Bob Hayes ran the hundred yard dash. Just be quiet you cannot defend jimmy butler, you're not jimmy butler!

  17. Jimmy is a superstar. I'd pick him over Embiid any day of the week and twice on Sunday, and Embiid is a regular season MVP and, according to the media, a certified superstar. But you have superstars and you have superstars. They're not all the same. There are a few better ones out there, but he's in the room.

  18. Both wildes and brou got it right abt jimmy my brother was somewhere else when his team showed up smh BIGGG RESPECT TO KYLE LOWRY BAM ADO…U KNOW THE REST AND KEVIN LOVE FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS
