Can we wait until the man hangs up his jersey before we rank him anywhere? Omg the dude had a playoff run to remember. That's for sure He delivered Denver their first world title. I've lived here for most of my life here in Denver for 21 years and I never thought the nuggets would win a title and they've had some Hall of Fame caliber. Great players here that have ran through here. Let the man write his own history before we start ranking him. I think Jokic is somewhere from 25-30. He keeps accumulating counting stats, and he will definitely be top 20, maybe even top 15 by the end of his career.

Best peak performance i have seen in a playoff run.if he wants to be top of the heap its there for the taking he just needs to keep going and stay healthy. No one in the history of basketball has the complete package like him. Not even mj who was not nearly as great passer and was not a great 3 point shooter

There’s so much nuance you have to consider in discussions like this. Based on game I honestly don’t see how he can’t already be top 20 ,sometimes we over value rings. If the player was instrumental to a team success then fine use it but a lot of players in the top 20 with rings barring mj and lebron won and they weren’t always the best player in that series . What am saying Steph has 4 rings and one finals mvp ,and I don’t want to diminish Steph role in all of golden states rings but the one he won last year you could see he was the one who willed golden state to the title. That validated his greatness,unfairly may I add,Steph was the first unanimous MVP,but I digress. I can’t see a world though where jokic won’t be able to put up these numbers and not be dominant. I can go off what I believe with my eyes and confidently say when it’s all done he maybe the greatest to touch a basketball or worse top 10.Skill wise he has all your favorites beat,I just think it’s because jokic isn’t super athletic and “boring” why many people won’t be able to grasp that he maybe the best the game has ever seen.
I dont like ranking all time player ranks until they are closer to the end of their careers (mid 30's). In terms of 3 year Peaks it is def top 20.

Majority USA NBA fans and viewers find hard to understand that some international stars like Jokic, Doncic and Giannis want to play at FIBA World Cup 2023 for their countries, that will begin at the end of August 2023. They are ambassadors of basketball in their countries and beside NBA this is one of the best platform competitions to promote basketball worldwide. So that puts Jokic desire to go home ASAP in much different perspective, because his offseason vacation has very small window
