  1. The true story? Before NBA became known as entertainment (scripted)with the Celtics vs the Pistons on CBS. Then, after Dick Ebersol bought the right to the NBA for 900 million allegedly became NBA is entertainment (scripted). We know Ebersol was very fond of MJ23 . Still, Zeke need tell the truth Mark Aguirre was lead guy behind the Walk off but he was being a follower. The worst part is he duck his head, at least with others guys they had they head up high walk& past the bulls.Dumars Salley Vinnie Johnson did congrats the bulls tho. The leader the face of the team Isiah Thomas didn't congulate the team after comments by MJ Phil Jackson in particular saying they were bad for basketball . Which that wasn't true but on MJ 23Nike (NBC) network that travel. Especially consider that MJ was being setup to be the face of the league. Especially, with committee during voting process for dream team not a good look. The question need to be asked did Chuck Daly warned u Zeke about during the walk out because he knew that wouldn't be a good look end up costing him a spot on the Dream Team. Despite Daly & GM being apart of the committee which speak volumes.

  2. The Celtics left the court early in the Silverdome in 88 because the crowd was about to storm the court they shook hands with the Pistons in the Locker Room in defeat Jordan shook hands with the Pistons in defeat in 88,89,90 it's documented Isiah is bitter because of what Jordan said before Game 4 in 91 ECF Jordan:The Bad Boys are bad for basketball

  3. People forget that CBS reported and covered the NBA without much sensationalism. Even mean dunks theyā€™d rarely replay more than once.

The walk off was sensationalized by NBC in their first year of covering the NBA

  4. Old news. How many videos of this do we have to see on Youtube :)?

  5. Context. Thatā€™s what itā€™s all about. People forget about the fight Rodman had with Lohaus earlier in the game and fans were already throwing debris onto the court. Itā€™s a long walk to the dressing room, and I remember CBS showing Pistons fans throwing trash on Bird after the ejection with Laimbeer the year before.
I also canā€™t remember anyone giving Bill Fitch and the Rockets a hard time in ā€˜86 when he pulled his starters early and they went in the dressing room once Game 6 was no longer in question.
